Pronunciation: ah-DAH-hee-el
Who She Is
Adahiel is the calendar, nineteenth among the Eerkodeshoi in their order of inscription. Her name means “time of God.” She is the elder who teaches man to remember, and the righteousness that joins mankind to the cycles of the universe.
What She Teaches
Unless calendar is kept in order, man acts as a law unto himself. Adahiel heralds obedience to the Law, and is the body of the Law of God. She is protection against jealousy and the oppression that comes from inequality, and teaches man to have traditions, joining the traditions of God to man. By her the righteous can participate in God’s good memories, celebrate His doings of creation, and be part of His family album of events. By the calendar, the righteous can even rest with Him each week, and by the power of His Son, rest for the same reason. Without Adahiel, man’s routine activities become isolated and alien, subject to the designs of the idols of men and the Decadarchoi.
Life and Death
There are cases each day, and at special times, when Adahiel’s protection can mean the difference between life and death. She teaches man to be dependable, and is master of family ties and a friend to those who are old.
A Warning About Imposters
One should remember that Adahiel has imposters. It is important to know that the ones who established the true Adahiel have fled with Zion, the Holy City — any who would join with them now or in the future must be found alien, without her. One should consult her daily for advice, righteousness, protection, worship, and responsibility to duty. She is not oppressive, but freeing, and will be a helper in providing for your little ones.
Repentance and Guardianship
One must repent of love for the world and its spiritual heritage before approaching her.
Her Place Among the High Priests
Josiah, fourteenth of the High Priests, is brother to Adahiel.
