The Simplest Healing Ceremony
This is the most common form of healing worship — a culturally sensitive anointing and prayer offered for injuries, sickness, and physical illness, carried out with real personal love and empathy by whoever conducts it. James 5:14-16 is cited as its scriptural foundation: calling the elders to pray and anoint with oil, that the prayer of faith might save the sick and any sin be forgiven along with it.
What the Minister Needs Beforehand
Fire matters a great deal here, both for what it may communicate and because fire itself is light — one of the primary Eerkodeshiy, and a natural way to call on the presence of the One who called Himself “the light of the world.” Before doing anything else, the person conducting the ceremony needs to know what Anokeesed actually wants in this situation. Healing comes together where His desires, honest repentance, the right element of righteousness, and specific compassion for the person all meet. This calls for real familiarity with the Eerkodeshiy and a willingness to listen for how they want to be involved — approached with deep humility and a charity so complete that self disappears from the picture entirely.
Order of Worship
Prepare in prayer with the Lord beforehand. Light a fire, and listen for what it has to say. Offer an opening prayer. Bring the problem fully into the open. Talk through what repentance is needed. Anoint the candidate with determination paint on the cheeks. Pray with hands laid on the candidate’s head. Burn Harari on the coals, using a sending fan to cover the candidate in its smoke. Touch the candidate’s head with the fan, if one is available. Close with prayer.
