Pronunciation: AH-nah-nel

His Place Among the Fallen Watchers

Thirteenth to Semihazah. His name means “cloud of God.” Bound to the element of uranium.

What He Was Meant to Be

When created, Ananel was a rock carrying the spirit of a spectacular thundercloud reaching from man to God Himself, holding the definition “the spirit of God will renew and openly lead.” He could have given the true feeling of hope — the hope of the resurrection and the Second Coming of Christ, the hope of eternal judgment — and could have been the source of trust and confidence.

What He Chose Instead

Ananel took the definition instead that “invisible things are the enemy, and one cannot trust.” A rock that carried the spirit of a cloud became deadly, capable of becoming a cloud of destruction — an invisible killer that rots humans.

What He Teaches

Ananel teaches the causing of war, even to the extent of setting the elements themselves at war with one another. He is master of all evil spirits, master of mistrust and spies, and master of Melchiresa. He is the culprit who keeps renewal from occurring among large masses of people — the enemy of life and of the Spirit of God.
