His Place Among the High Priests
Elijah is twelfth in the order of the 24 High Priest Communities. He is brother to the Stars. His Watcher is Rachaphiel, “Movement of God,” who teaches longsuffering.
His Name
“The name ‘Elijah, the Tishbite,’ is the element of righteousness. Elijah means ‘The Lord is God.’ The word ‘Tishbite’ is not only the place where he is from, but again, it is the element of righteousness as it means ‘recourse.’ Thus Elijah was the only ‘recourse’ of God for Him to be God in Israel” (I Achee 5:52 n. 101; Strong’s #8664 and #452).
What He Established
Elijah established specific acts of preparing the way before the Lord. Through this, he allowed Christ to be successful in all His missions — or, more simply said, to win.
Working the Water Tablet
Elijah worked the Water Tablet — the same instrument Noah once used to call forth the Flood — and fire fell down from heaven and consumed the sacrifice upon the altar. As he prayed, fire fell upon the altar and the waste wood began to burn, and the heavens broke open with rain in great abundance.
