Pronunciation: ee-LISH-eh-buh

His Place Among the High Priests

Elisheba is twenty-fourth and last in the order of the 24 High Priest Communities. He is brother to Fire. His Watcher is Debariel, “Word of God,” who teaches prayer.

What He Established

Elisheba established the meaning and function of forgiveness.

The Meaning of His Name

Elisheba means the God of Shabuwa. He was first inscribed of his community, which came forth out of Zion.

His Wife, Karoseaed

His wife’s name, Karoseaed, means the herald of kindness. Orphaned from birth, she was raised in her eighth year by Edni, the rib of Enoch, who nourished her to become a herald of kindness in her own right — held in high esteem by all the righteous of Zion.

What He Named the Lord

Elisheba named Messiah “The Savior of the World” — a declaration that, when made in Zion, brought all the borders of Zion to erupt in praises to God.

Chief Among the Merari

Though fifty-two standing Merari all held the office of High Priest, the vision given was for Elisheba to stand as their chief, teaching and establishing the love of repentance among all those in Zion.

Semihazah’s Plot Against Shabuwa

Word came to Elisheba that Semihazah, with the beasts of the earth, had devised a means to nullify the power of Shabuwa among the Eerkodeshoi — exposing the righteous, safe though they believed themselves to be, to devastating loss. In the midst of this crisis, Karoseaed came before her husband holding the Urim and Thummim, urging him to seek comfort through it. Elisheba, weeping, repented that he had not thought to turn to the Lord’s holy instrument sooner — and in the vision that followed, he found comfort to bring to all of Zion.
