Pronunciation: GOH-ker hah-REEM

His Place Among the High Priests

Goker Harim II is seventeenth in the order of the 24 High Priest Communities. He is brother to the Dew. His Watcher is Anahiel, “Gentleness of God,” who teaches tenderness.

What He Established

Goker Harim II established, by the intervention of his agency and with the element of righteousness, that womanhood, with its chastity and virtue, would be the element by which Messiah was born of woman.

What He Named the Lord

According to the words of an angel, Goker Harim II called His name Joshua — a very common name among poor men, and a good name, so that His identity could remain hidden from the world.

Founding Secacah

Walking with God in strong obedience, Goker Harim II established that the Men of Renown alone would dwell in the city of Secacah, and altered the Rule of the Community to include how they should conduct themselves when Messiah came to eat among them.

The Hopes Placed in Hannah

The Men of Renown believed for a time that Hannah, a seer and a maiden filled with the spirit of God, would become the mother of Messiah. Widowed after seven childless years of marriage, she conceived within days of her husband’s death — but the child was a daughter, causing great dispute and even departures from the Church. Goker Harim II repented mightily and sought the Lord, who visited him in compassion.

Beholding Messiah

In his old age, Goker Harim II came to the temple on the day of Messiah’s presentation, beheld and blessed Him, wept and rejoiced greatly, then returned to Secacah to see the Law of the King kept faithfully from that day forth.
