His Place Among the High Priests

John the Baptist is eighteenth in the order of the 24 High Priest Communities. He is brother to the Wind. His Watcher is Rahaviel, “Sight of God,” who teaches responsibility.

What He Established

John the Baptist established that God and Christ are One, calling forth Oneness between God and man, and joining spirit and element.

What He Called Him

When Messiah came to be baptized among the warriors and multitude at the crossing of the Jordan, John, taken aback, declared: “Behold the Lamb of God.”

The Baptism

John baptized Messiah into His personal covenant to be obedient to His Father as the Messiah of Israel and all mankind, washed in the same water as the warriors and the multitude. Achee saw that this water — unlike Messiah’s earlier baptisms in Secacah — flowed down into the Dead Sea itself, carrying not His sin, for He had none, but the death, blindness, deafness, crippling, and despair of all mankind, that He might bring life where there was death. A dove alighted upon Him as the Eerkodeshoi looked on in wonder — the hand of His Father’s lovingkindness, comforting Him as He covenanted to go into the hard places.
