His Place Among the High Priests

Josiah is fourteenth in the order of the 24 High Priest Communities. He is brother to Enoch’s Calendar. His Watcher is Adahiel, “Time of God,” who teaches loyalty.

His Name

His mother hid her pregnancy from the king “so that her child may not be offered to Moloch, and she bore a son, and she named him Josiah, which means founded on Jehovah” (Moses 13:66; Strong’s #2977). “And indeed the child was founded on the Lord, for his mother taught him early to love the Lord” (I Achee 6:3).

What He Established

Josiah established that man, by his repentance, could worship with Messiah in all things through Shabuwa.

What Josiah Named the Lord

Josiah named the Lord “The Redeemer of Israel.”

Cleansing the Temple

Josiah, a child king and High Priest after the manner of the Holy Order of Melchizedek, set his hand first to cleanse the temple — tearing down its altars profaned with sorcery and removing its idols. He desired with all his heart that his people would turn to the Messiah of Shabuwa, though they would not.

Preparing the Way

Josiah prepared the way of the Lord, for the Lord could not be born amidst a nation of idol mongers and sorcerers and yet fulfill the vision of His Father for Him. Achee, beholding all Josiah’s doings, saw that the Lord gave the children of Israel a choice, though the Law of Babylon had made the traditions of their fathers grievous to overcome.
