His Place Among the High Priests

Malatsar is twenty-first in the order of the 24 High Priest Communities. He is brother to Summer. His Watcher is Osherel, “Happiness of God,” who teaches happiness.

What He Established

Malatsar established the fulfillment of visions of created purpose — that Messiah might establish His kingdom and live with man a thousand years.

The Meaning of His Name

Malatsar means to live with God within the covenant. His brothers were Oreme (“Who is the earth”) and Chekat (“to rest”).

A Childhood Longing for Messiah

When Malatsar was eight, all the Eerkodeshoi heralded the birth of Messiah with a day and a night and a day without darkness. Learning that Messiah was born far away, in the land of His mother’s people, young Malatsar asked his mother if he would ever see Him, and whether Messiah would speak as they spoke, so he might talk with Him. From that day forward, Malatsar and his brothers spoke to Messiah in their hearts and often aloud, marking His growth season by season, until they became truly acquainted with Him in their souls.

Messiah’s Visit After the Resurrection

On the day of Messiah’s suffering, the Eerkodeshoi cried out in anguish and the earth groaned for three days, though the people of Ooma were spared. When life returned to the land, Malatsar found his mother at the altar of Nachash speaking with Messiah Himself. Overcome with wonder and joy, Malatsar worshipped at His feet, and their hearts were one, “as if they had always known each other.” Messiah handed him a plant and said, “This one is given life by the feelings of the love of repentance. See how sweetly it smells.”

His Role in the Modern Record

Malatsar was one of three who guarded the ancient records, and was the one who spoke to Ben Elim during his forty-day experience.
