Pronunciation: NIF-ih-leem

Also spelled Nephilim, the familiar biblical spelling (Genesis 6:4).

What They Are

The Niphilim are people whose spirits are stolen at conception by the very wicked. They are the only persons ever born who are void of the spirit of Motsah the Lamb, and because He is the Resurrection, they cannot be resurrected (Grandmothers 9:9). A Niphilim is a combination of a person and an animal, something common among the wicked before the Flood (Grandmothers 9:10).

The First Niphilim

Lamech, using the evil designs Asael had taught him, took Adah away for a few days, and she conceived a Niphilim child, the first ever born upon the earth. From birth, the spirits of the Decadarchoi filled the child (Grandmothers 4:69). Lamech is named as the one who established the Niphilim (Melchizedek 7:71), and the Niphilim wars followed (Grandmothers 4:87).

Before the Flood

The Niphilim multiplied abroad in the land as the fallen ones begat children with the wives of men (Enoch 2:105). They were found in abundance around the land of Towah and the valleys of Heleah (Enoch 1:61).

After the Flood

The knowledge of the Niphilim was remembered, and the nations of evil used them as gods, making images of them (Grandmothers 9:10). Their spirits are the spirits called demons. Anokeesed allowed one-tenth of these spirits to remain after the Flood, and they are called the angels of the adversary (Grandmothers 9:10). They are the foremost among the false spirits gone out into the world to deceive (Enoch 9:32).

In the Last Days

Achee saw the Niphilim upon the earth once again, as in the days of Noah, with the Decadarchoi begetting them anew (I Achee 12:56, 12:76).
