Pronunciation: rah-KAH-fee-el
Who They Are
Racaphiel is the stars, twenty-fourth and last among the Eerkodeshoi in their order of inscription. Also spelled Rachaphiel, the more common spelling used elsewhere in the six books. Their name means “movement of God.” They are friend to the ages of man, and teach mankind to enjoy childhood — it is element for them.
What They Teach
Racaphiel is master of the awe of God, and the body of His Majesty. They connect the vagabond and dispossessed to God, and are friend to anonymous benefactors — though they are misused by those with absent gods, being made master of absent owners and landlords instead. They are herald of pleasant surprises and the unseen hand that blesses.
Their Nature
They are eternal, and only break into the present illusions of the time of man. They are guardians of visionaries, and enemy of the impulsive and the hateful. They always feel a reminder that God cannot be too big to love you, as if you are the only thing He has to love — nothing can be too big or too far away that its light does not, in its very life, immediately commence to travel toward you personally. They move through the heavens in the very midst of Eternity.
Repentance and Guardianship
Before approaching them, first repent for being too adult and hard-hearted.
Their Place Among the High Priests
Elijah, twelfth of the High Priests, is brother to Racaphiel.
