Pronunciation: rah-HAH-vee-el

Who She Is

Rahaviel is the wind, second among the Eerkodeshoi in their order of inscription. Her name means “Sight of God.” Before there was wind, the Great Holy One could behold all His doings in Elda, with nothing hidden from His sight — and when the idea of wind entered His mind, Rahaviel was born of that desire.

What She Sees

There is no crack in any bark of any tree, however high or low, that Rahaviel has not visited. She can see in the dark with no moon, look under the feathers of any bird, and moves in and out of the chest of every man, animal, tree, and living thing to give them life — and when she is within your chest, she looks upon the inside of your soul. Man and creation have no secrets from the wind.

Repentance and Guardianship

To approach Rahaviel is to keep no secrets from God or yourself. She is guardian of grandmothers.

Her Presence with Every Life

The wind bears record of every first breath and every last one, recording every sigh of sorrow and every song of joy. Man cannot leave Rahaviel’s presence for even a moment and live, for Messiah gave element form so that there is no life apart from the presence of the feelings of the heart of God. Greet the wind, and she will herald your prayers and carry the living presence of the Spirit of the Great One.

A Herald of the Presence

Rahaviel is a Herald of the Presence. In the tumult of praising that rose like the roaring of the sea, she stood forth and declared that the Son of Man was prepared, from before the foundation of the world, to redeem all mankind.

Her Place Among the High Priests

John the Baptist, eighteenth of the High Priests, is brother to Rahaviel.
