Who She Is

Sedeqetelebab is the wife of Shem — the same man known as Melchizedek. Her own family called her Shum, but the Lord renamed her Sedeqetelebab because of her role in establishing Shabuwa alongside her husband. She is an Archangel.

The Meaning of Her Name

Sedeqetelebab, by interpretation, means the righteousness of God is a treasure hidden in my bosom. The Book of Achee says: “Sedeqetelebab is the rib of this Melchizedek, for the righteousness of God that her husband established is as a treasure hidden in her heart.”

Her Three Names

The Lord came to her in the night, “and He anointed her and He said, This night little daughter I name you Ge’iyra, and you have three names: one from your family which is Shum, and one from the Eerkodeshiy which is Zedeqetelebab, and now one from Anokeesed which is Ge’iyra, and you are an Archangel together with your husband” (Melchizedek 12:33). Ge’iyra is pronounced guh-EER-uh. “Melchizedek and Zedeqetelebab are the names that are given them by the Council of Elda because they are establishing Shabuwa… but my Father Anokeesed named them Michael and Ge’iyra for what they will accomplish in the next life” (Melchizedek 12:110).

“The name that his wife was called by her family was Shum, which is the feminine form of Shem… she was named Shum to hide her name Zedeqetelebab in the same manner… as her future husband” (Handbook p. 113).

Her Part in Establishing Shabuwa

She stood beside her husband before the Lord and the Eerkodeshoi, and nothing was to impede them. She went with him upon Mount Pethach and blessed the altar he prepared there. Through the forty-nine days of covenant declarations, she looked on and rejoiced in her heart, loving the Lord and the Eerkodeshoi. She and Shem together bore witness with Ebedel that the earth and all the Eerkodeshoi entered into covenant.

Her Family

She raised Tiras, her grandson by Japheth, as her own son after his mother died in childbirth. Her granddaughter Tipharah later kept records left in her care, alongside Achee.
